Description:
Role: Data Architecture Expert
Start date: immediate
Background check MANDATORY
Candidate must be a US citizen.
• Architect and code data structure from ingestion to visualization using Snowflake, dbt, and modern BI Tools
• Implement best practices for the data platform that provides maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Provide expertise in data warehouse modeling and development for Snowflake
• Exercise best practices in optimal Data modeling for nonuniform sets of data
• Provide best practices for source code control with Github
• Design and Maintain data security access controls
• Develop SQL, HTML, and/or Javascript code to optimize the stack or to generate views for visualization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver to respective stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data developers
• BS in Computer Science. The emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus
• 10-12 years Data Engineering Development and visualization experience
• 6-8 years of Data Warehouse experience is required. Snowflake DWH is preferred
• 6-8 years of SQL experience, Snowflake SQL is preferred
• 2-4 years of dbt experiences, semantic layer experience is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience with Github.
• 2-3 years of experience with Ci/CD tools for the modern data stack
• 3-5 years of LookML, Tableau or modern BI tool experiences
• 2+ years of Python development
• HTML and Javascript experiences as it relates to Looker are preferred
• Experience with the following Enterprise systems: SalesForce, Oracle, Oracle BI, Workday, Jira, Adaptive, Anaplan
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills
